Brett A. Hazuka is a Senior Medical Device Executive who has served in many successful roles including CEO, President and CSO for a multitude of successful Medical Device Companies in over 42 countries on five different continents. His career has spanned 25 years and has included projects for start-ups to Fortune 100 Companies with numerous product launches, development projects and commercialization ventures completed. He has also run numerous venture funding rounds and presently serves on multiple boards. Brett completed his education at University of California Santa Barbara and Adams State College in Business Economics and Accounting as well as Business Administration and Accounting respectively, while raising capital and completing his first successful start-up launch during his undergraduate work in Santa Barbara with his first successful exit four years later. Brett currently lives in Ventura County, California with his wife of 22 years and two young adult sons and runs countless projects with his team out of his flagship companies: Coast Medical Devices, Coast Med Ventures or Coast Medical Innovations. He is presently a CEO of all three companies and holds equity positions in eight separate active ventures involved in the medical device space specializing in Interventional Radiology as well as various advanced surgical specialties with offices in the US, Europe and Israel.
